Could be in Korea early next year

I rang the Inter-country adoption Unit yesterday, they told me that they have received an allocation from Sth Korea for someone who’s file was sent in January of this year, it seems to have taken about 9 – 10 months. Our file went to Korea in March, so hopefully that will mean we are getting some pictures of a new family member quite soon. Immigration times seem to be about 10 weeks, so this could mean we are back in Korea early next year. (Maybe March ). We are still waiting to see if the internal adoption changes in South Korea have any effect on the programs. I hope that they will have some positive outcome for Korean Adoptees, but my Korean friends are more sceptical.
